About Camryn M

I am a contemporary sculptor who works in a variety of materials, focusing primarily on glass. My work explores the interplay between form, light, and texture, creating dynamic and playful pieces. My journey as an artist began at a young age when my father, a fellow artist, first introduced me to flameworking. I burnt a hole in the carpet of our livingroom while making glass beads and unsuccessfully tried to hide it by rearranging the furniture. Over the years, my practice has been enriched by diverse educational experiences, including classes at New York University, the University of Hawaii, with the Glass Fusion Collective in Honolulu, and Urban Glass in Brooklyn. I also have a degree in Organizational Behavior, I loved studying biophilic design.
